Nueces County Community Action Agency (NCCAA) provides a variety of programs intended to empower people and build thriving communities by providing services that directly impact households transitioning out of poverty.

Weatherization
Heating and Cooling
Minor Home Preservation and Modification
Information and Referral Resources
Notary Services
Application for Assistance
Services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, with higher priority given to vulnerable populations, such as those aged 60 and older, individuals with disabilities, or families with children aged 5 and under. Client eligibility is determined based on income. Service Centers are located throughout Nueces County to enhance access to services aimed at eliminating the causes of poverty. Staff at the Service Centers assist clients in determining their eligibility for all available programs. This process may take up to two hours for each client, and if eligible, assistance may take up to 30 days to be received.
