Weatherization Assistance Program

Weatherization is an energy conservation program which helps reduce unnecessary use of energy and fuel costs for elegible low income households. WAP performs the following home modifications in an effort to prevent the loss of energy resulting in high energy costs:

• Weather stripping

• Caulking of windows and doors

• Patching holes

• Insulation of walls and ceilings

• Appliance testing and replacing

• Replacing/Repairing HVAC systems

• Other minor home modifications
